Zechariah 8:16 - These are the things you are to do: Speak the truth to each other...
Our dislike for the truth begins at a very small age. No one teaches us to tell a lie, but it comes to us quite naturally. I remember as a small kid one day while crawling on the floor, I pushed a brand new cupboard mirror and it fell on the floor and shattered into pieces. The sound of the breaking mirror in...Read Full Post »

Romans 8:1 - Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.
Back in Kerala, we had a dog called Tiger, who is no more. He was quite faithful, lovable and obedient. But the moment he had his plate of food before him, the dark side of him used to take over. He would not resist anyone to be around when his plate is full. Every passerby at that time would be his staunch enemy.

I Chronicles 29:14 - Everything we have has come from You, and we only give You what is Yours already.
Many of us have trouble relating to the prayer, “God, give us today our daily bread.” Because our pantries are so packed and our stomach so full, we seldom ask for food. More likely, we need to ask for self-control and say, “God, help me not to eat so much.”
